Mobile Innovation Summit
December 7-8, 2016
San Francisco, CA

Innovation Enterprise is a media company specializing in enterprise innovation. Their summits cover topics related to innovation, digital strategy, big data & analytics, IoT, supply chain, finance and more. These events are much more intimate than a typical conference, offering smaller speaker sessions and more focused agendas. They are held all over the world as well, so their reach is large and they attract local subject-matter experts to speak and attend. One of the other nice features of the Innovation Enterprise Summits is the amount of time left open for networking. We all know that a big reason to invest and attend these events, aside from education, is to network and spend time with colleagues and friends. Innovation Enterprise makes this easy.

Internet of Things World
May 16-18, 2017
Santa Clara, CA

Internet of Things World ConferenceThe third Internet of Things World Conference was held in May in Santa Clara, CA. There is another one coming to Europe in November. What strikes me about this conference is its growth. The first event in 2014 had less than 1,000 attendees. In 2016, just its third conference, it attracted over 10,000 attendees.  Clearly, there is something here. Is it the IoT space gaining worldwide attention? Are attendees clamoring to get to the Santa Clara Convention Center in May?

This past conference in May of 2016 was a launching pad for several technology giants to show off new products. It had nearly 375 speakers covering topics such as IoT security, architecture, smart homes, local infrastructure, wearable technology and the Industrial IoT. One cool thing it also had was an area dedicated to cities called Startup City, which featured about 70 startups showcasing their latest technology advancements across the IoT market. Internet of Things World has a comprehensive conference agenda covering everything from smart cities to manufacturing, smart homes, connected cars, healthcare, energy & agriculture, supply chain & logistics.
